At Faculty Minds, we welcome individuals driven by a passion for psychology and a commitment to making a meaningful impact. Yamini Sunder, our Administrative Psychology Intern, is an enthusiastic and dedicated professional whose academic background and research experience make her a valuable part of our team.
A psychology graduate with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts (Hons.) from Symbiosis School for Liberal Arts, Yamini majored in Psychology with a double minor in Anthropology and Film Studies. This interdisciplinary education sharpened her insight into human behavior, allowing her to approach mental health with a holistic and nuanced perspective. Her strong interest in clinical and forensic psychology—especially in how mental health intersects with the criminal justice system—has fueled her drive to support individuals facing psychological challenges.
Her passion for helping people and breaking mental health stigma led her to join Faculty Minds, where she plays a vital role in the clinic's administrative and research functions. She has worked in correctional settings, engaging with individuals in rehabilitation programs, researching stigma reduction, and advocating for mental health inclusivity. Yamini is committed to using psychological principles to support individuals and inform mental health policies.
Beyond her professional work, Yamini is an avid traveler who thrives on exploring diverse cultures and perspectives. She believes that understanding human behavior in different social
contexts enhances her ability to connect with people from all walks of life. Her analytical mindset, strong research skills, and dedication to mental health advocacy make her a valuable
contributor to Faculty Minds’ mission of transforming lives through psychology. With a keen curiosity, empathy, and drive to make a difference, Yamini ensures that Faculty Minds operates with efficiency, insight, and care. We are proud to have her as part of our team, helping shape mental healthcare's future.
