She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Kishinchand Chellaram College (University of Mumbai) and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Kishinchand Chellaram College. Her academic background has given her a strong foundation in psychological assessment, therapy, and research.
Currently working as an Assistant Psychologist at Faculty Minds, Saumya specializes in psychological testing and assessment. Her expertise in conducting and interpreting assessments allows her to provide valuable insights that guide treatment planning and intervention strategies. Saumya has also been actively involved in research and professional development, deepening her understanding of human behavior and psychological processes.
Saumya gained extensive clinical exposure through her internships at King Edward Memorial (KEM) Hospital and Arogya Nidhi Hospital, where she worked closely with patients experiencing a wide range of psychological and psychiatric concerns. In the psychiatry department, she observed and assisted in clinical assessments, case histories, and patient
consultations. She gained firsthand experience in understanding psychiatric disorders, therapeutic interventions, and the role of multidisciplinary teams in mental health care.
Beyond clinical practice, she has contributed to mental health awareness and education through research and workshops. She is committed to continuous learning and professional development, ensuring she provides high-quality psychological support. With a methodical and empathetic approach, Saumya is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in psychology and supporting individuals in their mental health journeys.
