Ishani is a Communications coordinator and administrative assistant at Faculty Minds. She has completed her B.A (Hons.) with a Psychology major and double minor in Business and Media from Symbiosis School for Liberal Arts in 2023. She has a deep passion for Psychology and a strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Previously, she has worked with a mental health NGO which provides free of cost mental health services to individuals from the lower socioeconomic sector and assists people dealing with mental health concerns, particularly in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Her experiences and ability to develop a rapport with children have led her to believe that children and adolescents is the population she would like to work with in the future. The forms of therapy she is drawn to are CBT, REBT and Music therapy and she wishes to adopt an eclectic approach to her practice in the years to come. She will be resuming her academic journey in the next year by undertaking a Master’s in Clinical Psychology and continue to expand her knowledge base.
