Hinal is a Senior Psychologist at Faculty Minds. She has completed her Masters in Counselling Psychology from S.N.D.T. University. After studying the subject of psychology for 7 years, she believes in honing her skills constantly to ensure her clients receive the most reliable results. Hence, she has pursued a certificate course in Art Therapy post her Masters. She has mastered the use of collage making, painting, sketching, writing and various other techniques in Art Therapy to assess as well as heal her clients. The creative nature of Art Therapy lends itself to every age group as it erases the restrictions of language and allows free flowing expression of emotions. It is also an incredible tool to discover the unconscious and help client be more self-aware. Additionally, she has nourished her skills in Handwriting and Signature Analysis (Graphology) to compliment her Art Therapy training and uses it to understand her clients on various levels. Her training in these skills enable her to take a very comprehensive approach towards therapy and assessment. They also allow her to use an eclectic approach towards her clients for their holistic development.
She has experience in working with children and teenagers in various settings like schools and NGOs. She has taken individual as well as group counselling sessions to provide for different needs of the clients. She has first-hand understood various challenges faced by this population and applied her knowledge to help them overcome those challenges efficiently.
She also has experience in employee counselling, where she has helped young adults working in a professional setup overcome their concerns which hindered their performance. She has also taken innumerable workshops and training sessions with young adults and teenagers on a myriad of topics in social skills like communication and problem solving, to help them achieve their goals. Moreover, she has made a module on such skills as well.
Her determination to provide optimum guidance to her clients and help them achieve their full potential is reflected in her training and experience.
