Marital Counselling
With the increase of dual-earning couples in families, more and more individuals find themselves shuffling between roles and responsibilities. These create discrepancies between the couple’s expectations which often causes friction between partners. A common area of conflict between couples is miscommunication between partners. This creates barriers to mutual understanding and reaching a common ground.
When considering couple therapy, we aim to cover all areas of improvement within the relationship. The therapists work on bringing awareness and introspection regarding improvement on an individual level as well as at the joint level. Different aspects of a marital relationship are covered such as working on improving communication between partners, creating boundaries within the family, changing individual behaviour patterns towards one another, healing past complaints and improving sexual compatibility.
